Happy Fall Y’all
Pumpkins and mums are out, apples are all over the grocery store, and the aisles are packed with Halloween candy and costumes. Happy Fall Y’all.
It’s my very favorite time of the year. I absolutely love everything about Fall. Especially the clothing. Nothing makes me happier than slipping into a comfortable pair of jeans, putting on a warm sweater, and sitting by the fire drinking a hot cup of tea.
Nothing.
It’s important to take the time to appreciate the changes that are going on around us. Don’t be so busy rushing from one place to another, that you forget to open your eyes and look around you. Mother Nature’s been busy, and she paints a beautiful picture right now.
Don’t forget to notice.
The leaves are turning colors, there are lots of acorns on the ground, and sometimes you can smell the wonderful scent of a fireplace. The air is crisp, and temperatures are finally moving to cooler mornings. And it’s about time. I’m happy to put the hot weather behind us.
Don’t let this time pass by without taking it all in. Embrace where you are, and take a moment to appreciate the exquisiteness all around you.
We’re always changing and transforming ourselves, just like Mother Nature. Hopefully, these changes are beautiful, like the leaves. But, if they aren’t and you’re going through a season in your life you don’t like, hang on. This time will pass. The leaves will sadly fall to the ground, Winter will come, and whatever you’re going through will soon become a distant memory.
Try to make the most of the season you’re in.
Find meaning each day,
Dara
