Sacred Time

It’s that sacred time of the year. The week between the holiday season and New Year’s Eve, when life moves a little slower.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t have much going on.

Happily.

There aren’t any deadlines hanging over my head, meetings to attend, carpools to drive, places to be, things to do, or people to see.

I’m embracing it. Holding on tightly with both hands, and not letting go.

Jon’s off from work, the kids don’t have any homework to do, and we’re trying to bask in our family time.

I hope you’re getting to do the same.

I realize everyone doesn’t get to take time off.

If you’re one of those people, running the world and making sure all systems are working properly, I offer up a bit of thanks. I hope you can still manage to carve out a little family time this week, and soak it all in.

This week was made for moving a little slower, getting less done, and spending time with the people you love.

In fact, I’m scheduling this post on Sunday evening, to automatically be sent to your email in box Monday morning. (By the way, if you haven’t subscribed to the blog, don’t forget to just enter in your email address. Of course, we don’t do anything with your email address. We just send you happy, inspirational, sometimes funny posts, delivered to your inbox. All for free.)

I scheduled this post, on Sunday evening, because this morning my whole family accidentally slept until 11:30AM. I’m seriously hoping this will be our schedule, every single day of this lazy week.

I can’t think of anything better.

Crazy Perfect Life will be back next week. I’m taking the next few days off, to do nothing, and I know you’ll understand. Thanks for allowing me to be in your life.

Find meaning each day,

Dara
